Trevor Burt, Chairman Trevor returned from overseas pursuit a career with the global industrial gas company, The BOC Group. He held senior leadership roles with BOC in Australia, China and the USA.Pursuitthe vanquishment of BOC by the German global engineering visitor Linde AG, Trevor joined the executive Board of Linde based in Munich. He has wide-stretching wits in strategic leadership in large organisations and since returning to New Zealand has taken up a number of senior governance roles. These include Chairman of Ngai Tahu Holdings Corporation Ltd, PGG Wrightson Ltd, NZ LambVisitorLimited and a Director of Silver Fern Farms Ltd, MainPower NZ Ltd, Agria Asia Investments Ltd and Landpower Holdings Ltd. Margaret Devlin Margaret is a professional Director with wide-stretching wits in governance and executive management. She operates primarily in the infrastructure and services sectors and is a Director on a range of companies, with a particular focus on inspect and risk. Margaret is currently chair of Watercare Services Ltd, Harrison Grierson Ltd, Titanium Park Ltd and Women in Infrastructure Network. She is a director of Met Services New Zealand, Waikato Regional Airport, Aurora Energy and IT Partners Group. Bill Dwyer Bill is a commercial and corporate lawyer with a career expanding over 25 years. Joining the LPC Board of Directors in June 2016, Bill moreover currently operates his own legal practice and holds directorships with Development Christchurch Limited (Chair), Regenerate Christchurch, Lyttelton PortVisitorand 10 Star Homes. Before starting sole practise in 2015, Bill was Managing Partner at Lane Neave. Prior to this he held the position of General Counsel andVisitorSecretary at Solid Energy New Zealand Limited. From 1997-2011 Bill was a partner at Lane Neave whilst moreover lecturing third year law students at the University of Canterbury and spent time in the UK at BZW legal semester and Freshfields, London. Bill has recently retired as a Director of Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) where he sat on a number of committees and established an intern programme for CCHL whereby aspirants to governance roles sit on the Board of each visitor in the group. Grant Gilfillan Grant joined the LPC Board of Directors in February 2016. He is Chief Executive Officer and Director of the PortValidityof New South Wales, the port validity responsible for all government owned ports in New South Wales - Yamba, Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla, Eden. Prior to this appointment, Grant had been Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Ports Corporation (from 2008) and Newcastle Port Corporation (from 2013). Before joining Sydney Ports Corporation in 2008, Grant worked in Africa, the Middle East and Europe (Romania) as a Senior Vice President, Managing Director and General Manager for DP World. Prior to this he served as Director of Operations for P&O Ports, Australia and New Zealand and as Managing Director of CSX World Terminals in Australia. Previous to that Grant was a mining engineer and mine manager in the NSW Hunter Valley and the north-west of Western Australia. Grant served as President of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) from April 2013 to June 2015 and remains zippy in the organisation as a past president and lifetime Honourary Member Jim Quinn Jim is an experienced CEO and executive manager in the logistics and IT industry. He is currently Chief of Strategy for Auckland Council He was the inaugural CEO of KiwiRail who lead the reintegration of New Zealand’s rail resources and merchantry and created the plan to turn the merchantry around. Prior to that he negotiated and led the Express Couriers joint venture between New Zealand Post and DHL. Jim has had General Management roles in New Zealand Post, Advantage Group (EFTPOS Industry), WEL Energy, QED Software and New Zealand Couriers. Jim was Chair of MCom for nine years and is moreover Director at Payments New Zealand, Halls Group, and Go Bus. He is moreover chair of Intillecta Apps and Tubman Heating. Brian Wood Brian Wood has had a career in senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors and latterly consulting. His consulting roles included a period with the International Monetary Fund. He was previously Managing Director Asia Pacific of global starchy engineering consultancy MWH Inc, and was responsible for overall leadership in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Brunei. Since stepping lanugo from his role with MWH, he has a number of directorships and undertakes consulting assignments for several clients. Brian is an accreditedVisitorDirector and a Fellow of NZIM. Dr Don Elder Don joined the LPC Board of Directors in October 2016. He is Chair and Chief Executive of Spanbild Holdings Limited, and a Director of CSI and Aoraki Partners. He was previously CEO of Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd for 13 years, and a Director of ASB Bank, Sovereign (ASB Life), Orion, Port of Napier. and the World Coal Association, including two years as Chair. Don has wide-stretching international management and engineering wits including, in Canada, Vice President of Jacques Whitford Engineering Group (later Stantec), and Director/Chair of the Halifax Port Commission, Canadian Consulting Engineers Association, and Halifax Chamber of Commerce.Pursuithis BE (Hons),StarchyEngineering, at the University of Canterbury, Don did his doctorate in engineering as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford. Malcolm Johns Malcolm has been the Chief Executive of Christchurch International Airport since January 2014. He has moreover served on the Board of the Tourism Industry Association, was Deputy Chair of Tourism New Zealand for seven years, has other governance wits and has wits as a merchantry mentor for start-ups in the technology sector.
